Apple iPhone 4g Patent for Door-Unlocking Features

 Apple has recently secured a patent for unlocking doors using iphone. Apple patent intends to add a new combination lock type feature to iPhone 4g. ntends to add a combination lock type thing to your iPhone according to an article over on intomobile. The new Apple patent uses “Motion Based Input Selection” technology which could deliver a number of functions to the iPhone that you may wish to secure with a security PIN or password.

Apple's device would use a technology known as Near Field Communication, which allows electronic devices to transmit information between each other when close together.

An alarm could go off and alerts would be sent to the householder if someone tried to break into an electronic lock using the wrong pin code.

The iPhone has sold more than 40 million worldwide.
