By Sam Richart: There is a growing concern among Democrats and some Republicans that if Sarah Palin were to become president, it would be a disaster in a making. The latest comment from Barbara Bush, in an interview with CNN’s Larry King, confirms the theory. Bush, appreciating Palin’s beauty, said she hopes Palin stay in Alaska.
"I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful," Barbara Bush told CNN's Larry King. "And she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there." Bush comments follow Palin’s revelations this week that she's considering a 2012 run for the White House. Besides, she said she is hopeful to beat President Barack Obama.
But Bush comments coveys it all. It also confirms the belief that Palin is unqualified for national office. What gives weight to this conclusion is that Palin couldn’t complete one single term of office in a position with more responsibility than mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. But it could also be that Bush has made a comment according to her personal views. But whatever it may be, she had made her opinion on Palin clear.
Sarah Palin is an American politician, author, speaker, and political news commentator who was the youngest person and the first woman elected Governor of Alaska.
George and Barbara Bush also talked about the influence of the tea party in American politics, and their son's new book, "Decision Points." On the Tea Party Movement, President Bush said he is not sure how the new movement will fit into the larger political landscape.
