One of the 'American Idol 2010' top 10 women contestants, Crystal Bowersox was hospitaized for Diabetes. For this very reason American Idol season 9 changed its ladies first policy and instead of top 10 women performing on Tuesday night, top 10 men performances were given.

Now what happens tonight at top 10 women performances? May be Crystal Bowersox's illness will get Crystal some sympathy votes or her performance might suffer because of her illness bringing an end to her American Idol journey. Anything can happen.

There was lot of confusion and outrage at the shuffling of men and women performances. It was the opinion of many that it was not fair to the male performers to get them to perform ahead of their schedule because of Crystal's illness.

Also if she does go home after tonight's performance either because she does not perform or because she gets voted out then this reshuffling would be of no use at all.

But the chances of Crystal Bowersox going home are also very unclear as many feel that she is a strong contestant as she gave a good performance last week.
