Senator Graham bats for Tax Cuts and against repealing 'don't ask, don't tell'
Time for the Thanksgivings is over now and it is time once again to think about the pros and cons of the legislations of the country. Senator Graham is a Republican and he hails from South Carolina but apparently he is one more thing – a future foreteller.
The way that he has reacted to questions about how the pending course of actions is going to go down in the Senate would suggest that he knows everything that is going to unfold like he has memorized them as facts from the pages of a general knowledge book.
According to Senator Graham, the tax cuts that were implemented in the tenure of George W. Bush are sure fire extensions and his lame duck vote on it for the next couple of years is something that can easily be counted upon. The Democrats have rejected to extend those tax cuts nationally.
But Mr. Graham feels that the support from the bipartisan is more than enough to ensure that the cuts are indeed extended. Another important issue regards the military. They have implemented a policy which restricts the service of gay people to outside of the military.
They are calling it the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. A debate on repealing that policy is due in the coming week but Senator Graham has made it clear that no republican is going to support the repeal of the same. He confirmed the impossibility of the don’t ask, don’t tell policy being repealed in an interview with Sunday’s Fox News as well.
Another issue which he has nullified concerns the illegal immigrants. Presently there are two million of them in the United States and he feels that giving amnesty to all of them would mean inviting trouble upon themselves.
