Good news for all fans of light, romantic comedies, Valentine's Day is here. Not the day that is 14th February but the Garry Marshall movie with the same name.

The story is centered around Reed (Ashton Kutcher) and his best friend, Julia (Jennifer Garner).Julia is very much in love with a doctor (Patrick Dempsey)and Reed , who is a florist by the way, has a girlfriend too, career girl (Jessica Alba).

Julia's boyfriend is two timing her. Reed finds about it and is in a dilemma whether to tell his best friend about it.This is about the best dramatic situation the movie presents.

Rest, well there are too many other characters, some deliver, some don't. Here they are: A fifth-grader (Bryce Robinson), Reed's right-hand man (George Lopez), A local sportscaster (Jamie Foxx) ,a football star (Eric Dane), athlete's publicist (Jessica Biel), his high-powered agent (Queen Latifah), receptionist (Anne Hathaway), her fellow employee (Topher Grace),high school girl (Emma Roberts), her boyfriend (Carter Jenkins) , Julia Roberts' Army captain, seatmate on a flight(Bradley Cooper), Taylor Swift as a ditz, her jock boyfriend (Taylor Lautner), Shirley MacLaine, Hector Elizondo.

Quite a list but the movie does not do justice to all. Many characters do not feel real.

Jamie Foxx is good with his comic timing and  Jennifer Garner does add some charm .

The film directed by Garry Marshall of "Pretty Woman" fame opens on February 12.
